About Caddo Common Park: Caddo Common Park, affectionately known as "The Common," is a 1+ acre creative greenspace situated at 869 Texas Avenue in Shreveport. The park's development was guided by a nationally-awarded creative placemaking community vision plan, aimed at revitalizing a historic yet blighted 9-block area between the downtown business district and the Ledbetter/HUD Choice Neighborhoods. Through a collaborative effort between public and private stakeholders, Caddo Common Park has transformed from broken concrete slabs and razor wire into an inviting urban greenspace. With its tree-lined trails, iconic Performance Pavilion, Art Bosque Food Truck Court, and Bioswale, the park serves as a hub for artistic expression and community engagement.
