Julie Glass and Sherry Tamburo work with opposing materials--hard/soft, rough/smooth--to give the art observer an intoxicating spin on both of these artists’ genius for creating with found objects and the earth’s raw treasures. Each Artist will exhibit many individual sculptures and wall pieces done in her separate style, as well as a collaborative creation, “Brazen Spirit,” that combines mixed media, Glass’ welding, and Tamburo’s fiber art to create a visually varied and intriguing experience. The exhibition illustrates that the Artists and their Art is greater than the sum of their parts.
