Critical Mass 8 Best of Show Literary Artist Mawiyah Bomani, described as an author who “cares to tackle hard topics of race and identity, valiantly and often brilliantly,” presents Thick Air: Rituals of Resistance with deep compassion, empathy, and emotional honesty.
Due to the Pandemic, artspace and Shreveport Regional Arts Council have decided to put these rules into effect for these Exhibition Openings. 1. All attendees (Ages 13+) must provide proof of Covid 19 Vaccination or a Negative Covid Test that is no older than August 24. 2. All attendees must wear a face mask. This includes children. 3. Artspace will be encouraging safe spacing.
