Artist Up! will level up skills and experience of emerging artists through a series of courses/classes at the Central ARTSTATION.

Led by renowned Dallas, Texas curator and mixed media artist Lesli Marshall, this 8 week course promises to deliver strategies for increasing earned income for artists from the production, marketing, distribution of Art by at least 30% within one year of course completion.

It is a goal of the Shreveport Regional Arts Council to strengthen the professional arts community in order to advance the Arts, and maximize access to the Arts, for the people of Shreveport, Bossier and Northwest Louisiana.

Graduates will create a marketing portfolio and take part in a group exhibition at the Central ARTSTATION. The Course takes place on Mondays 5:30pm - 9:00pm for enrolled artists, and 6:00pm-7:30pm for those picking and choosing the classes.

The cost of the course is $100 with a $400 Pay It Forward cost to the Community. Food and drink is provided.Artists who do not wish to be certified can pick and choose classes at a cost of $20/class. Classes are free to Roster Artists, but they will not receive certification.
