Listen to Northwest Louisiana Literary Artists as they read their “Best” poetry and prose and compete for “Best of Show” Literary Artist of Northwest Louisiana during the Shreveport Regional Arts Council’s Annual, Open Invitational Exhibition and Critic Series. Caddo Parish Poet Laureate and former Critical Mass Literary “Best of Show” recipient Ashley Mace Havird will host the evening. The “Best of Show” Literary Artist will be selected by nationally renowned critic David Ulin and will be announced Friday night at artspace at 708 Texas St. from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 pm., with a celebration following. This literary series and the “Best of Show” announcement and party are FREE and open to the public.
