Boom or Bust Byway Signs of BELCHER and SAREPTA:

It's official! We are proud to announce the winners of the Boom or Bust Byway Signs of BELCHER and SAREPTA:

Belcher’s winning design was PATRIOTISM, created by artist Karin Ebbesson!

Sarepta’s winning design was BODCAU DAM, created by artist Garrett Carlson!

Semi Finalists for Belcher were:

Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who submitted their work! Once all the signs are fabricated, we will coordinate an installation for all 9 signs along the Byway, culminating in a special ceremony when we can invite the artists, each village’s leadership team, residents, and of course the media, to join us in the dedication of them all.

Soon, we hope that these areas along the Byway will experience new tourism of visitors traveling the scenic route along Highway 2, featuring iconic imagery and a QR code for local attractions encouraging guests to take the byway, explore the area's off-the-beaten-path treasures, motivate travelers to stop for a selfie and share on social media, provide access to the area's history and directions to attractions, and showcase the creativity of Northwest Louisiana artists.
