The Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) was founded in 1976 during the bicentennial celebration for the City of Shreveport with the mission to nurture the artistic and creative well being of the citizens of Northwest Louisiana by developing, promoting and maximizing access to all of the arts in the 10 parish region.
