Artist's Statement

Throughout his design he has portrayed a world gone array with manipulation of the mind.  His contrasts in both realism and surrealism conquer the imagination which makes you think before you provoke a response.  His designs in furniture became his body of work for over 10 years. His designs have graced countless homes throughout the country. His work has also landed in many hotels, restaurants, bars and clubs throughout the United States.  His work has been featured in many publications such as Dallas Life, Vary, Expose, Artist Perspective, and Nightclub and Bar Magazine just to name a few.  He also was a featured artist at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

The complication of a devoted painter, sculptor, and designer keeps him on edge but never lets him get bored with one medium.  His continuous devotion to art feeds the desire to work in new mediums and push the envelope with new ones everyday.

Mooremetal Studios,  1991 to Present

  Mooremetal Studio’s has designed countless clubs, bars, and interior pieces for businesses around the world.  Mooremetal was instrumental in the re-design of the 4 million dollar nightclub the “Starck Club” in Dallas Texas for Dennis Rodman, Helen Rayburn.  More recently Mooremetal has worked on “Season of the Witch” building Hero Props as well as Hero Costume pieces. For The Discovery Channel Mooremetal Designed and Built Set pieces for “Mayday Bering Sea” and also worked directly with the prop master on “Julia X”.  Working directly with the Prop Master, Set Decorator, and Art Director the Studio used their skills on “Year One” designing, building props and set pieces for their $100 million dollar budget film as well.  For “Leaves of Grass” Mooremetal worked with wardrobe in design and printing clothing for the film and props. Mooremetal is a full time Art Studio located in Shreveport Louisiana.  Mooremetal Studio’s can design build props and set pieces or handle set design and manufacturing.  We specialize in Metal works and we also do theming in foam carving, rubber casting, foam rubber casting, mold making, hand forging, weapons, armory, sculpting, woodwork, leatherwork, one off printing, graphic design and more.  If you need it or can dream it we can design and build it to make it a reality.  No job is too big or too small for our team.
